Are you looking to create a vision for your year, your future, your life? Are you needing to find clarity or direction in your present vision? Creating a vision board can be a huge step to creating a new vision for your life or finding clarity and direction in your present vision.
It’s also a great exercise to find Inspiration for your life in areas you didn’t even realize were important to you. Creating a vision board can open doors and ideas about the things you want to create for your life.
It’s a chance to get a visual look at possibilities for your life. To create something you can look at every day that will provide continual motivation for achieving your goals and dreams.
Creating Intention With Your Vision Board
You don’t have to be a believer in the law of attraction for vision boards to work in your life. By creating a vision board, you’re creating intention.
By setting an intention, your setting a goal, creating purpose, and aiming your actions towards your vision. By setting an intention to accomplish your vision, you’re opening yourself up to becoming aware of what actions you need to take to achieve it.
You’re creating awareness that will help you see opportunities when they arise. Your mind will be busy solving the puzzle on how to achieve your vision.
Your life is a direct reflection of where your thoughts are focused. By creating a vision for your life, your mind will naturally focus on how to achieve it.
Find Clarity and Direction By Creating A Vision Board
The worst part of thinking about what you want from your life is when you realize you really don’t know. When you’re mind is chock full of limiting thoughts that cancel out any ideas you might have, a vision board can be a perfect way to find clarity.
It sidesteps your more logic based mind and all those limiting thoughts. It allows you to freely dream without fear or limitations. It creates a safe place for you to discover what you really want.
As you’re creating your vision board, you will experience a freedom that allows you to find clarity around what’s really important to you. To get past the need to allow the world and those around you to dictate or influence these choices and decisions for your life.
You will find freedom to discover your desires in the life you want to create for you. Without limitations, judgment, or expectations. This is your life. Only you can decide what that should look like.
Create a New Way of Feeling and Being With Your Vision Board
It’s important to have a vision for your life that creates a way of feeling and a way of being that aligns with who you want to become. You can’t stay who you are today. Who you are right now has created the life you have right now.
You must become the person that has already achieved everything they envision for their lives. This is the key to attaining your vision. This is your purpose. This is where you need to place your focus.
Once you have created your vision board you will start changing. How you think, how you feel, and your priorities must all change to create your new life.
Envision how someone who has achieved the things you want to achieve feels, thinks, acts, reacts, and what actions they would take. This will create your results.

Enjoy The Journey
Don’t wait until you’ve achieved your goals to enjoy your life. Enjoy every step of the journey along the way.
Life is about living. It’s not about just surviving until you can enjoy yourself when you’ve reached your goals. Find joy and happiness in your successes. Learn as much as possible from your mistakes.
And remember, the only difference between those who achieve their goals and those who don’t is that they don’t quit. They don’t give up. They keep pushing forward day by day making small changes and improvements that add up to great things.
The action step for class #1 is to think about what you’re willing to commit to, to create your vision. Answer these questions:
- What is your goal in creating your vision board?
- How much effort are you willing to make to keep your vision front and center in your life?
- Are you willing to embrace change?
- Are you ready to face your fears and limiting thoughts that have created the life you have now?
Write your answers down on a piece of paper. Then write a statement of commitment. A commitment to yourself and the vision you will be creating. Commit to opening your heart and mind to new possibilities. Commit to developing awareness concerning the things you want to create in your life and the person you want to become.
